Hi! You can call me Android, I'm a 20-something from Australia. I use it/they pronouns. I'm a collector and a creator, but I've always been hesitant to share the things I create. I'm trying to change that. I'm currently studying and working part-time in retail and food service.

I'm into movies and film theory, The Sims (mostly 3 but I'm currently playing 4), retro/DIY tech, physical media collecting (mostly CDs and Blu-Rays), and music.

I'm very new to HTML etc, I dabbled in Tumblr theme editing but only ever tweaking preexisting creations. I miss the sandbox of old style Tumblr blogs, and I've always been a little sad that I missed out on the MySpace era of custom sites. I know I'll never recapture that moment, that's not how time works, but I do believe that it's important we continue to build community outside of social media and that we aboid becoming dependent on the companies that run it. I am anti Generative AI, pro data privacy, and undecided on things that I don't understand yet.

• I have never paid for a non-indie video game, and I don't plan on starting any time soon.
• My favourite way to listen to music is with the CD player in my car, and my second favourite way is on my iPod Classic (unmodded because I'm basic).
• I am left-handed at everything except using cutlery, but I strongly believe that fight-handed cutlery use actually makes way more sense for left handers than it does for right handers.

• The music genre Shoegaze is called that because the guitarists spend all their stage time looking at their feet to change their effects pedals.
• Ofcom, the UK's TV regulator, comissions a survey every year to find out exactly which swear words the general public finds too offensive for TV.
• The thing about Ghandi being mega evil in the first Civilisation game isn't true. In fact, there's basically no part of the urban legend that makes sense when we actually consider how the code of the first Civilisation game works.
